Birds

Today we made bird feeders. We made them with peanuts, coat hangers, and raffia. They are super cute. Mama Payne showed us about all different types of birds. The quail was the most popular. Our wreaths should attract jays, but we don't know if they will actually work. We also made edible birds nests. They were made out of chow main noodles and jelly beans. They were good! It tasted gross though. Our activity was very messy and caused much injury during the stabbing of the peanuts, but everyone had a good time.
